Refund & Returns Policy

At Clothes Lines Ireland we stand over the quality of every product we make

This policy explains your rights and our terms around returns and refunds.


1. Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off)

Under EU consumer law, you have the right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receiving your order You can return the item (at your own cost) for a refund provided it is unused in original condition and in its packaging.


2. Exceptions — Made-to-Order & Custom Products

All of our standard off-the-shelf products are fully covered under our returns policy and warranty.

The exception applies only to items that are custom-made to your order or cut to suit measurements 

including T-bar poles made to order Canopy clotheslines made to order 

Any clothesline or fitting manufactured to your specific measurements or requests

Because these items are built specifically for you and cannot be resold, they are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or refunds. This does not affect your rights if a custom-made item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described — in those cases, we will repair, replace, or refund as required.

4. Damaged, Faulty, or Wrong Item

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

Provide your order number and photos of the issue

We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to you

This applies to all items — including custom-made products.


5. How to Start a Return

Email clotheslinesirelandsales@hotmail.com with your order number and reason for return.

We’ll confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.

Unless the return is due to damage or our error, customers are responsible for return shipping.


6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll confirm if it’s approved.

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Your bank or card provider may take extra time to post the refund.

If you haven’t received it after 15 business days from approval, contact us.
